  • Esperanza Rising : Adapted by Lynne Alvarez. From the Novel by Pam Muñoz Ryan. Set during the Great Depression, this theatrical adaptation of the popular novel is a beautiful, coming-of-age story concerning an affluent Mexican girl who is forced to migrate to the United States to become a farm worker.   • Free HIV Testing: Vista Community Clinic is offering free & confidential HIV testing in the Health Center today from 9am-12pm by appointment. Call the Health Center at ext. 2380.   • How to Develop an Argumentative Paper?: This is part of the ELF (English Learners' Friday) workshop series hosted by the ESL Tutoring Program.
