is a state sponsored program which waives enrollment fees for
qualifying students. Health fees are no longer
waived under this program. |

Apply online using the "Apply for BOGW" link on eServices'
Student Center page.
California residents have 4 ways
to qualify for a BOGW. Eligibility determination may take up to five (5)
business days.
Please note: you may be required to provide benefit or income documentation.
Follow the instructions very carefully.
If your application is incomplete pending review of documentation, contact
the financial aid office if your BOGW is not posted after 5 business days.
2011/2012 BOGW covers Summer
2011, Fall 2011 and Spring 2012. Last day to qualify
for a Fall 2011/Spring 2012 waiver is May 18, 2012.
2012-2013 BOGW covers Summer 2012 to Spring 2013.
Waivers awarded through August 13, 2012 will cover Summer,
Fall, & Spring terms. Fee waivers awarded after
this date will not be retroactive to prior terms.
Last date to qualify for Fall 2012
waiver is December 15, 2012. Last date to qualify for Spring 2013 only
waiver is May 24, 2013.

You will
be directed to Student eServices-- After Signing in, select "Apply
for BOGW fee waiver" link under the Financial Aid menu

Is for students
receiving cash assistance from: TANF/CalWORKs, SSI/SSP, General
Assistance. Proof of benefits dated within the last 60 days must be
submitted to verify eligibility. Recipients
of BOGW A will have their enrollment
& student center fees
waived and may purchase one reduced rate ($20/semester) parking
permit. No retroactive reduced fees for permit already purchased
prior to receiving BOGW |

Is for low income students. It is based on the previous year’s
income. If you do not meet the independent criteria (see BOGW
application for criteria), you will use your parents income to
qualify.
Recipients of BOGW B will have their enrollment
fees waived and may purchase one reduced rate ($20/semester) parking
permit. No retroactive reduced fees for permit already purchased
prior to receiving BOGW

Board of Governor's Fee Waiver (C) eligibility is determined by filing a FAFSA
(Free Application for Federal Student Aid) application. Once we receive a valid
SAR (Student Aid Report), you will automatically be considered for a BOGW.
Recipients of BOGW C will
have their enrollment fees waived and may purchase one reduced rate
($20/semester) parking permit. No retroactive reduced fees for permit already
purchased prior to receiving BOGW

Special
Classifications: |
Is for
dependent students of qualified Veterans, Congressional Medal of Honor
recipients; Victims of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attack; and deceased law
enforcement/fire personnel killed in the line of duty. Proof of eligibility
from the appropriate agency is required.
