Anno= uncements: &= nbsp; Stan Levy, co-chair of the Bond Campaign, announced that various groups on campus have volunteered to participate in a phone bank beginning on September 12. = He asked Senate members to consider assisting every one or two weeks for the n= ext five weeks up to the election. Senators interested in participating should contact Brent Gowen as soon as possible.

&= nbsp; &nbs= p; &= nbsp; &nbs= p; Senators indicated interest in receiving a Curricunet training session at an upcoming Senate meeting. Teresa Laughlin volunteered to host a short informational s= ession at next week’s meeting.

PFF/= Joint Council: = ; Brent Gowen referred to the discussion at last week’s meeting regarding the= PFF/Joint Council, which will include three members of the Faculty Senate and three members of the PFF, who will meet regularly during the semester to discuss issues of mutual interest. Although three Senators volunteered last week, t= here was overall agreement that the Senate President should serve on the council= .
